Nov-Dec 2015 Prayer Letter

Dear family and friends,

We are so thankful to be finishing another year here in Ecuador and watching God continue to work and open doors. He is the Good News that we strive to share with others and to make His Word applicable to every aspect of life! We hope all of you have a very joyous holiday season as you celebrate with thanksgiving this most precious Gift for all mankind, Jesus.

After much prayer and counsel, we decided at the beginning of November to trade in our 4×4 truck for a van that seats 12 people. Justo was sad to see his 4×4 go, but we recognize the need in the ministry and even in our own family for the ability to comfortably carry more passengers. Pray God’s blessings over our new vehicle and the many more people we can travel with now!
We enjoyed a great visit from Justo’s brother (Peter) and a friend in early November. We were also very blessed by Tricia’s parents who generously paid for tickets for our entire family to fly home for Christmas. We are so grateful for this opportunity to see our families and for our children to spend some quality time with their grandparents and other family members. We sure miss having them near!
Our time has been filled with normal duties along with lots of special holiday-related events. Tricia attended a special Christmas dinner for all the women at the church. She had the opportunity to encourage several women in their faith during the course of the evening. We went one day as a family on a field trip to study the thermal waters and movements of the earth with the other homschool families in the church. Justo was able to meet with another homeschooling mother not connected with our church and give her some much needed counsel and encouragement. Justo also designed a Christmas light show complete with music and a short Gospel presentation that he set up at the church. We hope it can be an outreach tool and a way to draw others to church. We praise God for these and many more opportunities He has given us to continue to bless others and show them how to practically apply Biblical truth in their lives.
May you all have a Merry Christmas!
Justo, Tricia, & family
